      mauimike confirming that 600's take less power, generate less heat and cost less to run, all other things being equal. Started off using 6's years ago, but switched over to 1K's andfeel there is a markedly big diff with the 1K's...more artificial sun results in bi...  more

      mauimike Of course the consumption is higher during veg and flower with them on all day instead of half or less.....I've found the annualized pmt. with PGE works well, as it seems to be lower than it would be otherwise

      mauimike How many lights are you running with a $950 bill? I run 8 for my 24 girls and I'm on an annualized bill of under $500 a month, plus I run a well for three homes and ag, and some outdoor lights too out here in the country at night.
